Position Description
Richmond High School is seeking an advisor for the S.A.D.D. student organization. The S.A.D.D. Advisor will work with students to promote safe, healthy, and responsible decision-making and to encourage positive choices within the school and community.
Responsibilities

Serve as the advisor and adult liaison for the S.A.D.D. student organization.

Assist students in planning and conducting meetings, activities, and school/community events.

Encourage student leadership, participation, and responsibility.

Support educational and prevention-focused activities addressing issues such as impaired or distracted driving, substance use, and other destructive decisions.

Coordinate with school staff, community organizations, and other appropriate partners when needed.

Supervise students during S.A.D.D. activities and events.

Maintain appropriate records and communication related to the organization.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Must meet district requirements for extracurricular advisors.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with high school students.

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
-
Commitment to promoting student safety, positive decision-making, and leadership.
-
Previous experience advising student organizations or extracurricular activities is preferred.
