Tinker STEM Club (2) Positions

 

About Tinker STEM Club (Grades 3-5 entering Grades 4-6)

Students will engage in a builder’s workshop model packed with fun STEM projects including magnetic tiles, marble run, snap circuits, etc.  Students will engage in themes around Growth Mindset, Perseverance, Inventive Thinking, Engineering Design, Real World Applications, and Ideas That Can Change the World.

 

 

CAMP PROGRAM DATES:

June 17, 2024 -July 11, 2024* (Monday-Thursday) *No session on Monday, July 1 thru Thursday, July 4 (12 total days)

11:30pm to 2:30pm Monday -Thursday only

 
Teacher Compensation

Teachers will be compensated for 3 hours a day plus .5 hour of prep per day (3.5 total hours per day) @$25/hour contractual rate and an additional $15/ hour for summer hero covid pay = total rate $40.00/hour.

All payments are processed after the end of the 4-week period
 
 Qualifications for Teachers

·         Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate

·         Enthusiastic, energetic, and positive professionals

·         Teachers must work all required days.
