SUMMARY: Instructional aides shall work under the supervision of the , teachers and principal and assist the students as assigned.  Must also assist teacher in the classroom with daily instructional activities, non-instructional activities and student management. This position is assigned to Kindergarten but may be utilized in grades K-4.

 

HOURS:

7:30-12:30 Full days of school 

7:30-11:30 Half days of school

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Other duties may be assigned.

 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises students when the teacher is not present.

The noise level in the work environment is quiet to loud depending upon the activity in the particular part of the day. The employee is frequently required to interact with the public and other staff. The employee is directly responsible for the safety, well-being and work out-put of students. The employee is exposed to infections at a greater risk than the average person.
